REVIEW
What I Liked:I am a big fan of Sera and Nyktos so I enjoyed the contuation of their story. I also appreciated bringing up the issue of consent and not allowing Sera to ignore what happens to her. Unfortunately, I think it an issue with which too many people can relate.
What Bothered Me:Yes, Kolis is the villain so we are meant to dislike him, but I don't think I liked a single thing about his character. He is almost too crazy and delusional for me.
Overall:A Fire in the Flesh is not my favorite of the Flesh and Fire series but it has a lot of important plot elements for both it's own series and the Blood and Ash series. I am enjoying reading both series intermixed according to the alternate reading order on JLA's author website. Do pay attention to the trigger warnings as Sera is subject to consenual acts she finds traumatic.
