Hattie is a young widow whose job is to flip homes in Savannah. Mauricio, a Hollywood producer, approaches her to star in a reality television show about renovating a historic home and she's desperate enough to say yet. Things start to get interesting when they find more than just termite damage behind the layers of wallpaper and the police are called in to gather evidence related to a 20-year-old cold case.

REVIEW
What I Liked:My mom and I used to love watching Trading Spaces on TLC years ago, so the Homewreckers brought back good memories. It made me appreciate how much work had to go on behind the scenes to produce a measly hour of entertainment.
What Bothered Me:I'm not sure I loved the incorporation of the mystery plot. Yes, it increased the suspense a bit, but I think it took some attention away from focused character development.
Overall:If you are a fan of home renovation and true crime shows then you might enjoy The Homewreckers.
