REVIEW
What I Liked:I liked that Sara was a strong heroine that never gave up even when she was in vulnerable positions. It's always nice when it's up to the female to save the world and in this case it was from the male love interest.
What I Didn't Really Like:I had trouble relating to either character, so didn't get very involved while reading. Sara had an interesting dichotomy as someone whose language was quite often very crude and then recites classic poetry in the next breath.
Overall:I can appreciate why Pestilence has received so many high ratings, but it wasn't my favorite. If you like apocalyptic fiction or captive romance, you will probably enjoy it. I would caution anyone that is deeply religious though. Some scenes are likely considered rather irreverent; however, the overall theme is re-establishing humanity's faith.
Overall Rating: ⭐⭐ (2/5)
Heat Index: 🔥🔥🔥🔥 (4/5)
