REVIEW

What I Liked:I like the slow burn going on with Curran and we learn more about Kate's reluctance to start any relationship, expecially when she refuses the advances of the very handsome Bran.

What I Didn't Really Like:It felt like the situation with Red is slightly unresolved, but it is entirely possible that his character will pop back up in a subsequent book.

Overall:So far, I am enjoying the Kate Daniels series. I like that they are only a few hundred pages long yet provide insight into character motivations, show progress in relationship building, and have a external plot challenge that gets fully resolved. It makes it a pleasure to consume whenever they come off of hold with the library regardless of the mood I'm in.
