REVIEW
What I Liked:The War of Two Queens was another epic installment of the Blood and Ash series. The dual perspectives from Poppy and Cas while Cas is being held prisoner by the Blood Queen works really well and shows the strength of the characters individually. I really like how things develop with Kieran and had been hoping for something along those lines since Book 2.
What I Didn't Like:Sometimes I struggle with the length of the books in this series, but it wasn't as bad with this book. I found myself fully engrossed right up to the end.
Overall:If you haven't started reading the Blood and Ash series, you definitely should (using the reading order on JLA's website alternating with the Flesh and Fire series). The War of Two Queens does a wonderful job of providing a sense of resolution to the conflict that has been building in the first half of the series and introducing some plot twists that will make you want to grab the next book as soon as possible.
