Addy's nightly run takes a weird turn when she sees a demon, a warrior kills a demon, and she gets stabbed in the chest. When Brand, the immortal Dalvahni demon hunter, shares his essence to save Addy's life he links them together in ways he didn't anticipate. Now he has to keep Addy safe from the demon who's after her.
What I Liked:
Based on the blurb, I thought the plot with a southern belle being thrown into a conflict between a warrior and a demon would be interesting.
What I Didn’t Like:
The book is intended to be a comedy. Unfortunately, it wasn’t my type of humor.
Overall:
Demon Hunting in Dixie wasn’t for me. Maybe it would be better if I had spent more time in the South and was more familiar with the culture and the sayings.
