What I Liked:
Wow, Neon Gods is a spicy one! Being based on Greek mythology, I assumed there would be more fantasy with the characters having powers, but it’s much more of a dark contemporary romance. The names of the gods are more just titles of power and politics are the name of the game.
Fair Warning:
The the plot to intimate scene ratio is a little low.
Overall:
If you like very loose retellings with a dark twist, then go ahead and read Neon Gods, but wait until you’re in the mood for something extra spicy with a side of kink.
